Lucas Hernandez Reveals How Ousmane Dembélé Is Adapting from Barcelona to PSG

All eyes are on Ousmane Dembélé after he decided to switch from FC Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain. The 26-year-old has experienced the good and the bad, but the winger seems on an upward trajectory.

Despite the 0-0 draw over the weekend against Clermont Foot, the Frenchman created plenty of scoring chances. Ahead of the Matchday 2 UEFA Champions League contest, Lucas Hernandez spoke about Dembélé’s transition to PSG.

Hernandez has known his teammates, who are on the French national team. So, the defender likely knows how the player is in a comfortable setting.

“He’s a different, extraordinary player,” Hernandez told reporters (h/t Paris Fans). “Like no one too (smile). I know him since a long time. She’s a magnificent person. He adapted very quickly to the team and the club. He feels very good, he is happy to be in Paris. This can be seen on the ground. He can make the difference at any time and we have confidence in him.

If the Ligue 1 giants want to walk away with all three points from St. James’ Park, they’ll need Dembélé to continue his creative ways. It will be up to the other players to take advantage of putting his passes in the back of the net.

Failing to do so could result in a loss and PSG putting themselves in a challenging spot, considering they’re in the Group of Death. However, a win would allow the team to get a grip on the group and put themselves in the driving seat to reach the knockout stage.
