It was the definition of an ugly win, but Paris Saint-Germain secured all three points in a 3-2 Ligue 1 victory over Stade Brestois on Sunday at Stade Francis Le Blé.
The capital club jumped to a 2-0 lead with goals courtesy of Warren Zaïre-Emery and Kylian Mbappé. However, Brest would respond by scoring two unanswered goals to level the contest at 2-2.
Mbappé scored the game-winning goal late in the match. After initially missing the penalty kick, the Frenchman would score on the rebound to give the Ligue 1 giants the road win and all three points.
After an impressive UEFA Champions League 3-0 victory during the week against AC Milan, PSG had to dig deep after blowing a 2-0 lead. Nonetheless, the team found a way to come out with a win. PSG is now one point off the first-place side OGC Nice and will face Montpellier on Friday before their Matchday 4 clash with AC Milan on Nov. 7.
