Kang-in Lee Reacts to PSG’s Impressive Champions League Win vs. Milan

Paris Saint-Germain’s Kang-in Lee possibly has his confidence at an all-time high. After winning a gold medal at the 2023 Asian Games with South Korea, he returned to the capital club.

It didn’t take long for his excellent national team-level form to transition to his club. Lee entered the contest against AC Milan and scored the third goal for the 3-0 UEFA Champions League win over the Serie A side on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes.

The 22-year-old took a pass from Warren Zaïre-Emery and buried the ball in the back of the net. Lee spoke with reporters after the match and noted his excitement for his first goal with PSG.

“I am very happy for the team, and for me, this victory was very important for us,” Lee said (h/t RMC Sport). “We responded in the duels. We used the ball well. I’m happy to have been able to help the team. That’s what I try to do every minute I’m on the pitch. I’ll work to continue.”

PSG and Lee will look to take this momentum out on the road when the squad travels to San Siro for the Matchday 4 clash on Nov. 7. If the Ligue 1 side can replicate their performance, they could be punching their ticket to the knockout stages.
