Former Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar Jr. cannot catch a break when it comes to him and injuries. Perhaps he thought a fresh start with Al-Hilal would bring new horizons, but it’s more of the same.
The injury bug found Neymar during Brazil’s 2-0 loss to Uruguay on Tuesday at the Estadio Centenario. The 31-year-old left in the first half with an injury, and it didn’t look good as he left in tears and on a stretcher.

Whether it was with PSG or the Brazil national team, the 2015 UEFA Champions League winner continues to be plagued by injuries. This FIFA World Cup qualifying window is supposed to set the tone for what will likely be his last tournament in 2026.
However, with Brazil’s poor form and his injury, one has to wonder whether he’ll make it to the competition in North America less than three years from now.
Many want to see Neymar lift the World Cup for all he’s endured on the pitch, but right now, that looks like a dream more than a reality.
