Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabian Ruiz will be a hot commodity when the January transfer window opens. The 27-year-old isn’t a regular starter for the capital club this 2023-24 season. As a result, his name is in the rumor mill.
While he’s not a starter at PSG, the former Napoli man could be in another club’s everyday lineup. Juventus is one of the teams keen on bringing him back to Serie A. However, the Turin-based club does face competition to land Ruiz.
According to a report on Tuttojuve, Ruiz might return to Spain instead, with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid expressing interest in signing him.
Both Spanish clubs have closely monitored his performance, just like Juventus. They may convince him to return to La Liga rather than make the move to Turin.
Furthermore, Mundo Deportivo’s Xavier Bosch recently urged Barcelona to pursue Ruiz. The Catalan side has long had their eyes on him, but no deal has ever happened. It will be interesting to see what Ruiz decides to do, considering he could have options outside of PSG.
