The French didn’t forget and gave an earful to Aston Villa and Argentina national team goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez when he arrived on the red carpet for the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris.
For those who need a quick reminder, Martinez mocked Kylian Mbappé after Argentina won the 2022 FIFA World Cup over Les Bleus. As a result, it didn’t come as a surprise when “Mbappé” chants broke out before the presentation of the Ballon d’Or award.
