Wolverhampton Reportedly Eyeing PSG Outcast for January Swoop

Hugo Ekitike has become an afterthought at Paris Saint-Germain. The 21-year-old didn’t get to move to another club this past summer transfer window. Furthermore, with the arrivals of Gonçalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani, he does not see any minutes at the No. 9 position.

PSG reportedly wants to find a solution for the player once the January transfer window opens in a few months. The Frenchman has a market in the Premier League, with Crystal Palace and West Ham United showing past interest in the striker.

L’Equipe reports that Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly among clubs interested in signing Ekitike this January. Nonetheless, the information from the French media outlet doesn’t reveal how much or what type of offer the English club will provide.

Wolves might need to improve their attack, considering they currently find themselves at the bottom of the table in 16th place with four points through six games. As a result, they could take a gamble on Ekitike and perhaps that could pay off with them staying away from relegation.
