Paris Saint-Germain opened the scoring first in their Matchday 1 UEFA Champions League contest against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday at the Parc des Princes. The capital club caught a break as the German side was called for a handball, and after a VAR review, it was confirmed.
As a result, Kylian Mbappé took the ball and stepped into the penalty box. The 24-year-old fired a shot that the goalkeeper guessed right, but it wasn’t enough to keep the ball out and for PSG to take a 1-0 lead.
