Report Reveals PSG’s Intentions for Crystal Palace, West Ham Transfer Target

One of the players who didn’t find a new club during the summer transfer window was Hugo Ekitike. It wasn’t for a lack of interest, as several Premier League clubs like Crystal Palace and West Ham United were eyeing the young striker.

However, no deal ever materialized before the Sept. 1 deadline. Furthermore, Ekitike has become an afterthought on the Paris Saint-Germain squad, with Gonçalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani taking over the minutes at the striker position.

As a result, for the 21-year-old’s development, it will be ideal for PSG to find him a club once the January transfer window opens. L’Equipe Loïc Tanzi reports that a solution is being worked on to find a solution for Ekitike during the next transfer window.

What exactly does that mean? Who knows? But it seems that PSG wants to put the young player where he can play while also receiving a nice transfer fee compensation.

So, will Crystal Palace or West Ham United head to the negotiating table to resume their interest in the Frenchman?

The Hammers have scored 11 goals as a team; meanwhile, the Eagles have scored six goals, with both clubs having played six Premier League games. Could either squad improve their goal-scoring? Yes. Will they go after Ekitike? Only time will tell.
