Warren Zaïre-Emery is the jewel of Paris Saint-Germain’s youth system. Despite being 17, the midfielder is already cementing himself as a starter for the French giants. Furthermore, Zaïre-Emery’s rise isn’t going unnoticed.
While the international break continues, the teenager is with the U-21 French national team. However, the players on the senior team know about his talents, and Real Madrid’s Aurélien Tchouaméni shared his praise of the young player.
“He’s already a very, very good player,” Tchouaméni said. “When you start at PSG at that age, that means you have qualities. I remember that the first to talk to me about him was Presko, 2-3 years ago. He told me he was coming … He was not wrong! Warren is super efficient!”

Luis Enrique and PSG put a lot of faith in the teenager that he’s ready for these big game moments. With the transfer window close Zaïre-Emery will be counted on for these UEFA Champions League group stage contests.
Still, Zaïre-Emery will have to continue to show that he can play in the starting 11. The Ligue 1 giants have competition at every position to get the best out of each player. If the midfielder has an excellent 2023-24 season, expect him to be on the squad playing at the Olympics in Paris next summer.
