PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani Isn’t Hitting Panic Button Despite Loss to Nice

Paris Saint-Germain supporters could be wondering whether to hit the panic button. The capital club fell 3-2 to OGC Nice on Friday at the Parc des Princes, and while PSG is on a worrisome trend, the squad isn’t panicking.

Randal Kolo Muani made his debut in the loss. The Frenchman is coming off the bench and providing an assist on Kylian Mbappé’s second goal. While two wins in five matches isn’t the ideal start, the 24-year-old striker noted the team knows that it’s a process.

Kolo Muani spoke with Amazon Prime Video postgame. Furthermore, he did his best to calm any concerns regarding PSG’s start to their 2023-24 season.

“We played against a very, very strong team from OGC Nice,” Kolo Muani said (h/t Canal Supporters). “They are one of the few teams that were undefeated in the league. They play good football, and they are compact. They managed to score three goals here.

“Afterward, we must not forget that we are a new team. There have been a lot of changes, and you have to give yourself some time to adapt. We will continue to work.”

PSG must turn the page on this loss and prepare for their UEFA Champions League contest against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday at the Parc des Princes. Manager Luis Enrique has to put out his best starting 11 to ensure they get off on the right foot in the Group of Death.
