PSG’s Gonçalo Ramos Gives Heartful Reaction to Scoring for Brace in Win vs. OM

Gonçalo Ramos registered his first goal with Paris Saint-Germain in the 4-0 win over Olympique de Marseille on Sunday at the Parc des Princes. Furthermore, the Portugal international also wasted little time in scoring his first brace.

Afterward, Ramos spoke with Amazon Prime Video, offering his reaction to getting that first goal weight off his shoulders. The 22-year-old notes his joy at having a couple of goals on his stat line, which could now open the floodgates for him.

“I’m happy because it’s a big win, and I also managed to score,” Ramos told the French media outlet. “It’s special, and it’s time to enjoy, but tomorrow will be a new day, and we will have to concentrate on the next match. It’s difficult to defend against our players. We showed it on the pitch.”

Ramos wasn’t the only PSG striker to record his first goal as Randal Kolo Muani also scored his first goal with the Ligue 1 side. Additionally, Kolo Muani provided the assist for the Portugal international to score his brace.

With Kylian Mbappé injured, the capital club could count on these two players next week when the squad faces off against Clermont Foot next Saturday at the Gabriel Montpied Stadium.

PSG could save the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner for the UEFA Champions League. The team will travel to St. James’ Park on Oct. 4 to face Newcastle United.
