PSG Targets Five Real Madrid Players In Response to Kylian Mbappé Pursuit – Report

Real Madrid has its eyes on Kylian Mbappé, especially with the 24-year-old playing this 2023–24 season on an expiring contract. As a result, the Spanish club is counting the days until they can secure the player as a free agent.

Nonetheless, Paris Saint-Germain isn’t going to stand by while Los Blancos plot another attempt to sign the Frenchman. SPORT reports that PSG have drawn up a shortlist of five Real Madrid players they will target in response to the Spanish club’s pursuit of Mbappé.

Here are the five players:

  • Vinicius Junior
  • Rodrygo
  • Eduardo Camvinga
  • Aurélien Tchouaméni
  • Federico Valverde

PSG has shown in the past to clap back and grab a player with their eyes on one of their star players. The Ligue 1 giants have scooped up Neymar Jr. and Ousmane Dembélé from FC Barcelona.

Mbappé likely has no desire to play the No. 9 position, which is why PSG brought Gonçalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani. As a result, would Rodrygo or Vinicius Junior be okay with possibly coming off the bench if the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is keen on playing as a winger?

It will be interesting if the Parisians pull one of these players away from the La Liga side.

  1. What a joke club. They try to buy their championships. Fail miserably. This utter humiliation forces them to retaliate against their so called “enemies”.

Didn’t PSG do the EXACT same thing to AC Milan as well as many other teams? They threw money at Donnarumma, he sucks – so now they are targeting Mike Maignan.

    How. Utterly. Pathetic.

I could care less about Real Madrid, but at least they have a chance of winning euro trophies.

  2. The thing is, these Madrid players are in Madrid not for the pay but for the prestige and history of the club. PSG doesn’t have that, so if they go there, it will not be for the club’s prestige and history but for the money. They make enough money currently that I don’t think Parisian money will be enough to tempt them away. They genuinely love their club and want to be there, which is not what all PSG players can say.

I can only see them leaving if they don’t get minutes.
