Heading into the international break, Asensio was hitting his stride as he scored a goal in back-to-back games playing as a false No. 9. However, all that positive momentum will now hit a wall as he recovers.
While PSG can withstand the loss, considering the depth manager Luis Enrique has on the attack. Nonetheless, many supporters will hope that this is a bump in the road for Asensio and he can get back on track to being an impactful player that he began to show before his injury.
