Luis Enrique Shares Thoughts on Coaching Dembélé, Mbappé, & Kolo-Muani

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique will have a new-look attack to work with once the squad returns from the international break. This week, the capital club secured Bradley Barcola, who is available to play against Olympique Lyonnais and Randal Kolo Muani.

Kolo Muani won’t play against Lyon but should be available when PSG faces OGC Nice on Sept. 17. Ahead of the match against Lyon, Enrique spoke about having the front three for the French national team.

“What I see is an infinity of possibilities in attack with these players: all international, all young, all endowed with great quality, with a diversity of options,” Enrique told reporters Saturday (h/t Culture PSG). “From there, it’s obvious that the more the players know each other, the better.

“It’s up to us, as staff, to find the best combinations for the players to perform the best, to know which ones get along the best with each other on the pitch… It’s a good exercise for the staff, and I take it as a personal challenge.”

Enrique will have one game to get the trio rolling as PSG will begin Matchday 1 against Borussia Dortmund on Sept. 19 at the Parc des Princes. The Ligue 1 side will have to get off on the right foot, considering how challenging their group is.

If Kolo Muani connects with Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé right out of the gate, then it bodes well for PSG as they aspire to get out of the group stage and into the knockout rounds.
