Paris Saint-Germain has received good news regarding the injury to Kylian Mbappé. The 24-year-old left in the first half during the 4-0 win over Olympique de Marseille with what seemed like an ankle injury.
While the capital club scored three goals in Mbappé’s absence, the question remained whether it was severe. PSG will be traveling to St. James’ Park to face Newcastle United on Oct. 4, but it seems they’ll have the Frenchman for that contest.
Le Parisien reports that Mbappé’s “small sprain” does not worry PSG. Medical examinations will be carried out at the end of the week, and they will determine his return date. Furthermore, the winger will return to training on Friday, which is a positive sign.

The Ligue 1 side has shown against a Marseille side in crisis that they can produce goals and not depend on the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner. Still, it is the UEFA Champions League, and having a player of his caliber against the Magpies is ideal.
PSG will face Clermont Foot on Saturday, a match they should win without Mbappé. Will he be fit for the game against Newcastle? That could come down to a game-time decision.
