Paris Saint-Germain will have a challenging UEFA Champions League group stage as the capital club faces AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Newcastle United. When the capital club meets the Italian side, it will pin Lucas Hernandez against his brother, Theo.
The Ligue 1 giants will face the Serie A side on Oct. 25 at the Parc des Princes and then on Nov. 7 at the San Siro. While speaking to reporters, Lucas was asked about facing Theo during the group stage.
“It is I who chamber with,” Lucas told reporters (h/t Paris Fans). “I have [Benjamin Pavard] and my brother. So far I think they are okay. Either way, they get along very well. I think it’s going to be in the rooms so that we don’t hear the discussions.”
Lucas is off to an excellent start in the French capital after arriving this summer from Bayern Munich. Furthermore, the player has filled the left-back role and seems to have overcome his knee injury at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
If PSG is going to finish in the top two and advance to the knockout stages, the squad will need a quality performance from Lucas. Will it be enough? It will be interesting to find out.
