Paris Saint-Germain and Nike have had a long-term relationship. But it seems the two parties aren’t ending their partnership anytime soon. Footy Headlines reports that the capital club is being elevated to an essential status with the company.
According to the information, Nike has placed the Ligue 1 giants Barcelona, Liverpool, and PSG in the A++ Elite category. As a result, it likely tells which clubs the kit maker values the most and wants to hold onto their business.

The more PSG plays in prominent matches and hopefully wins a UEFA Champions League trophy down the road, the better the situation is for Nike. Furthermore, having marketable players like Kylian Mbappé helps the French giants’ status within Nike.
While PSG moves on from superstars like Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr., the club’s location in Paris is an attractive proposition. As a result, the brand probably wants to remain a long-term partner and not allow any other company to take this market.
