The international break has struck a blow to Paris Saint-Germain. The capital club could be losing a player to injury. During Spain’s 7-1 win over Georgia on Friday at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena, Marco Asensio left the contest due to a knock.
La Cadena Ser gave an update on Asensio after his injury exit and confirmed a bruised foot. The injury couldn’t have come at a worse time, considering the 27-year-old was in good form playing the false No. 9 role.

Asensio has already scored two goals with the French giants, so it will be interesting to see how severe the injury is. Nonetheless, PSG’s summer transfer window built a squad with depth, and there’s plenty of that in the attack.
While the Spaniard will be missed should he not play coming out of the international break, the Parisians can insert Randal Kolo Muani. The 24-year-old was the last-minute addition before the summer transfer window closed.
