Paris Saint-Germain has seen plenty of young players leave their academy for greener pastures, with Mike Maignan being one of them. The 28-year-old left for Lille OSC and now is the starting goalkeeper for AC Milan, where he replaced Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Maignan is under contract with the Italian club until 2026. However, would he ever consider playing for his boyhood club? The Frenchman spoke with Le Parisien and touched on a possible return in the future.
“I am Parisian, but today I am under contract with AC Milan,” Maignan told the outlet. “And for the future, we cannot know.”

While Maignan can ponder a future of playing in Paris, he’ll be visiting the Parc des Princes in October. AC Milan and PSG are part of the Group of Death that includes Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United.
Maignan will look to be why the French giants have a challenging night and give his Serie A squad a chance to leave with three points. AC Milan reached the semifinals last season, and they’ll look to get back there on the gloves of the ex-Lille man.
