Nonetheless, as time ticks away, Spanish tennis sensation and avid Real Madrid supporter Carlos Alcaraz didn’t hesitate to voice his enthusiasm for the potential transfer of the Paris Saint-Germain star.
“All Madrid fans want to see Mbappé in Madrid,” Alcaraz said at a press conference for the Masters 1000 in Toronto (h/t RMC Sport).
“He is one of the best players in the world. Everyone wants to have him in their team. Mbappé in Madrid, it makes me laugh. I hope people will read that Mbappé is coming to Madrid. I would love that.”
