Why Potential Mbappé, Dembélé, & Kolo Muani Attack at PSG Is ‘Positive,’ per Deschamps

Paris Saint-Germain could revamp their attack during the last few days until the summer transfer window. Furthermore, the capital club could be the heart of the France national team’s forward group.

The Ligue 1 giants made the surprising move of securing Ousmane Dembélé from FC Barcelona. Then, after a rocky relationship this summer, PSG welcomed Kylian Mbappé to the first team training. However, the French giants aren’t done there.

Reports reveal that the Parisians want Eintracht Frankfurt star Randal Kolo Muani. If the 24-year-old comes to Paris, French national team manager Didier Deschamps sees the transfer with good eyes ahead of UEFA Euro 2024 next summer.

“Being able to rub shoulders on a daily basis can only be positive,” Deschamps told L’Equipe. “If they have a club experience, so much the better. That does not mean that they will play systematically, but nothing replaces the experience.”

Nonetheless, if PSG wants to land Kolo Muani, they face a hurdle. Frankfurt wants the transfer fee and not any player to offset the cost despite having an interest in Hugo Ekitike.

How much does the German club want? Sky Sports News’ Florian Plettenberg reports that Frankfurt wants €100 million for the French striker. The attempt to have the attack for the French national team won’t come cheap.
