Paris Saint-Germain could revamp their midfield even further before the summer transfer window closes on Sept. 1. The capital club might go after RB Leipzig’s Dani Olmo, who has experience working with manager Luis Enrique.
Sports Zone reports that Manchester City and PSG are in the mix for Olmo. The Premier League club views the 25-year-old as Plan B if their pursuit of West Ham United’s Lucas Paqueta fails.
As for PSG, club chief Antero Henrique is pushing for the Spain international. Olmo would reunite with Enrique as PSG’s new manager knows him from their time on the Spanish national team.

Olmo’s stock rose after the Leipzig star registered a hat-trick against Bayern Munich in the DFL Supercup for a 3-0 win over the German giants.
With Neymar Jr. out of the club, the Ligue 1 giants might make one last attempt to fill his role on the squad. However, there’s speculation that PSG could push Kang-in Lee to the midfield.
These next handful of days will determine what route PSG takes. Could they pursue a midfielder like Olmo or roll with Lee instead? Only time will tell.
