The future of Neymar Jr. is in question after a recent report revealed that the Brazilian had asked to leave Paris Saint-Germain. However, the 31-year-old’s father denied the report.
Even so, the media is still speculating where Neymar could go with a couple of weeks until the summer transfer window closes. The Brazilian has long been connected to the Premier League.
Now, would supporters of an English club welcome the PSG star? Yes, but there’s a catch. TalkSPORT’s Darren Bent recently explained why Neymar wouldn’t start in this Arsenal FC team if it meant choosing between Bukayo Saka and Neymar.
“Right now? [Bukayo] Saka. Starboy. We’re not getting rid of him for nothing,” Bent said. “I know exactly what I’m going to get from Saka, and there’s no baggage. I get that. And not only that, he’s been playing [all-world football] for years.”

It’s unlikely Neymar will leave PSG, at least not this summer; however, if the Brazilian star is fit and motivated, it’s hard not to see him in the Gunners’ starting 11.
If he isn’t already, Saka is a talented player with much potential to be an international star. Nonetheless, Neymar has had moments where he can carry a team in the UEFA Champions League. PSG has seen the Brazilian eliminate them in 2017 and then put them on his back in 2020 on their way to the final.
