Fabrizio Romano: Al-Arabi SC Nears Agreement for PSG’s Marco Verratti

Qatari football club Al-Arabi SC continues to be the possible destination for Marco Verratti. The 30-year-old has been linked to a move away from Paris Saint-Germain all summer transfer window.

With hours until the Sept. 1 deadline, it’s now or never if the capital club wants to move on from the midfielder. The latest on this front comes from transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano.

Romano notes that negotiations are advancing, hinting at a potential move for the Italian midfielder to the Qatari side. Additionally, the Italian journalist’s information reveals that Verratti is genuinely considering extending his footballing journey in Qatar.

Furthermore, along with Romano, RMC Sport’s Arthur Perrot provided insights into the ongoing negotiations. Perrot states that discussions are actively occurring among PSG, Al-Arabi SC, and Marco Verratti himself.

From PSG’s perspective, the desire to part ways with Verratti seems to be gaining prominence. Nonetheless, with the transfer window still open, the coming days could further clarify the situation.

Will a deal get done, or will the veteran remain with the French giants?
