Real Madrid’s Last-Minute Mbappé Bid Could Still Come If This One Gesture Is Done – Report

The Kylian Mbappé transfer saga appears to be temporarily over, with the 24-year-old remaining at Paris Saint-Germain this 2023–24 season. While Real Madrid will likely pursue the Frenchman as a free agent, one journalist believes a last-minute bid could come in.

Real Madrid has lost Vinícius Júnior to a thigh injury, so now the question is whether the Spanish giants will change their tone on Mbappé. Nonetheless, the Brazilian will miss eight of the team’s next eight matches, adding more stress to an attack that had its limits.

After Karim Benzema left, the offensive production was going to suffer. However, now that Vini Jr. is gone for some time, MARCA’s Carlos Carpio says Real Madrid is waiting on the call from the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner’s camp to make a move.

“I keep saying that Real Madrid are waiting for a call from Fayza Lamari where she confirms that they have reached an agreement with PSG on a figure within Real Madrid’s range,” Carpio said.

Two games into this Ligue 1 season, the PSG star continues to play at a high level, scoring a brace in the 3-1 win over RC Lens on Saturday. Furthermore, the club is building around the player, making him the focal point.

Will it be enough to keep him this season? Probably. Now, will it be enough for him to stay long-term? That’s the million-dollar question.
