Kylian Mbappé returned to training this week with the first-team after being with the undesirable players for the entire preseason. Nonetheless, he’s ready to get into the starting 11 for the matchup against Toulouse FC Saturday.
Ahead of the contest, PSG manager Luis Enrique spoke with reporters on Friday to discuss the integration of the 24-year-old into the squad. The Spanish tactician noted that it was a seamless transition for the Frenchman.
“Kylian is perfect from what I saw in training,” Enrique told reporters. “He has a lot of desire and is in a very good state of mind. I’m very happy to have a world-class player like Kylian.”

It’s likely that Mbappé will be in the starting 11 and will have a new running mate in Ousmane Dembélé. Barring any unforeseen event, the two should start and lead this new-look PSG attack.
Dembélé and Mbappé have chemistry as they’re teammates on the French national team. So they know how each other plays and might leap over the getting-to-know-each-other phase.
Nonetheless, if both are successful out of the gate, it will be easier to fill the production left behind by Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr.
