PSG Sets Conditions for Neymar’s Departure Amid Interest from Al-Hilal – Report

Neymar Jr.’s time with Paris Saint-Germain could end in the next few weeks. The Brazilian reportedly wants out of the French capital, and the Ligue 1 giants are open to a separation.

RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins reports that while PSG wants to part ways with Neymar, the French club has communicated its preference for a permanent transfer rather than a loan deal with an option to buy.

After missing out on Lionel Messi, Saudia Arabia’s Al-Hilal is pulling all the stops to land the 31-year-old. Nonetheless, Hawkins adds in his reporting that while Al-Hilal is keen on signing Neymar, the PSG star might have other interests.

Still, Neymar likely won’t head to Al-Hilal. He will attempt to find a solution within Europe and remain in a competitive league. PSG is actively talking with Al-Hilal to navigate a potential agreement for Neymar’s transfer.

Furthermore, there are links to FC Barcelona and Chelsea for the PSG star. However, a move to either of those two clubs will be a challenge for Neymar.

If the 2015 UEFA Champions League winner decides to leave, manager Luis Enrique will unlikely stand in his way. The shift in approach reflects Enrique’s emphasis on players who demonstrate commitment to competition and maintain their physical well-being.
