PSG Hits Hurdle in Randal Kolo Muani Transfer; Is Hugo Ekitike Key? – Report

Paris Saint-Germain wants another striker before the summer transfer window closes on Sept. 1. The prime target for the capital club is Eintracht Frankfurt star Randal Kolo Muani.

The Ligue 1 giants have a few hours to reach a deal with the German club for the Frenchman. However, their second offer has hit a hurdle as both sides cannot agree on a transfer fee.

Sky Sports News’ Florian Plettenberg reports that Frankfurt has informed PSG that they will not accept the €80 million offer for Kolo Muani. Paris is preparing a new proposal but will not pay €100 million. Nonetheless, the striker is pushing for the move.

While the two clubs are at odds over the economics of the potential transfer, both sides want to get a deal done before the window closes. Furthermore, Plettenberg reveals that Hugo Ekitike could be the key to resolving the issue.

Ekitike’s future isn’t at PSG, and Frankfurt sees the young striker with good eyes to replace Kolo Muani. Will it be enough for the two clubs to work out the differences? The clock is ticking.
