PSG Could Send This Manager to Unemployment Line with Win – Report

Paris Saint-Germain could cause Olympique Lyonnaise to drastically change their coaching staff this weekend. The two French giants will clash on Saturday at Groupama Stadium.

The capital club will face their former manager, Laurent Blanc, who’s off to a terrible start this 2023–24 Ligue 1 season. Lyon is currently in the relegation zone with one point after three matches. As a result, changes could be coming.

L’Equipe reports that if PSG defeats OL, Blanc will be sacked. So, the Parisians have an opportunity to not only get a win over Blanc but also send him to the unemployment line.

After a 3-1 win over RC Lens last Saturday at the Parc des Princes, the capital club has found its scoring touch. It’s primarily due to Kylian Mbappé, who scored a brace, but the team was more threatening.

If PSG has found its scoring boots, it doesn’t bode well for Blanc and Co. Lyon currently has a goal differential of minus-four, and it could get worse with the Parisians coming to town. Should people notice Blanc managing like his job depends on it against his former club, well, it does.

Will he get the win to cool off his managerial seat? Odds are he won’t.
