Paris Saint-Germain is hitting the overdrive button as the summer transfer window closes this week. The capital club has its eyes on two wingers to continue revamping their forward group: Johan Bakayoko and Bradley Barcola.
Bakayoko would be the economical choice for the capital club as he’s less expensive than Barcola. However, the Ligue 1 giants still face a significant hurdle if they’re to complete the transfer for the PSV Eindhoven forward.
Journalist Rik Elfrink reports that PSG has tabled a €25 million offer for the Belgian international. Still, negotiations have hit a roadblock as the bid falls short of the expectations set by PSV.

Despite PSG’s reported willingness to invest a substantial sum in Bakayoko’s services, PSV is likely holding out for a more lucrative offer. The 20-year-old is under contract until 2026, so the Dutch club doesn’t need to sell now.
Is Paris Saint-Germain still in on Bradley Barcola?
While the capital club has to ponder whether to return with a better offer for Bakayoko, there’s also Barcola. The French giants have been linked to the Frenchman for weeks now.
Sports Zone reports that although PSG is pursuing other options, Barcola remains PSG’s top priority. Internally, there has been a lot of talk about offering a loan with a mandatory buy option for Barcola. Nonetheless, the current Ligue 1 champions must resolve to pay the total price.

There are only a few days left until the transfer window shuts. Will PSG add another winger to provide more depth behind Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé? These next few days should be interesting.
