The Ousmane Dembélé transfer from FC Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain is at a standstill. The Spanish club has no plans to split the €50 million fee that the Ligue 1 giants paid as part of the release clause.
Jijantes FC reports that the Catalan side is convinced they can collect more than €25 million. According to the information, Barcelona is confident they can secure a transfer fee surpassing the initial €25 million mark, hoping for a more lucrative €35 million.
As discussions continue, Barcelona reviews Dembélé’s contract, ensuring everything is in order before finalizing the move. It is undeniable that Dembélé’s future lies outside Barcelona, with the club asserting that he will not remain a part of their squad.

Despite Dembélé’s imminent departure, the Frenchman will remain in Barcelona until all necessary arrangements are in place. The 26-year-old has already returned to the Spanish club’s training center until the matter is resolved.
Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see if a deal gets done this week to allow him to be ready for the opening Ligue 1 match on Saturday against FC Lorient at the Parc des Princes.
