The summer transfer window is hitting its final hours, and various clubs are hitting the accelerator on incoming and outgoing transactions. At the same time, many are focused on the arrivals PSG is planning, such as Bradley Barcola; the capital club has to act quickly on departures.
One name that PSG wants out is midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum. After spending last season at AS Roma, there’s no genuine interest in the veteran until now. According to Fabrizio Romano, Wijnaldum could reunite with former Liverpool FC teammate Jordan Henderson in Saudi Arabia.

The transfer window specialist reports that Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq is talking with Wijnaldum about a potential move. PSG wants him to leave, so it’s up to the 32-year-old whether he wants to continue his career outside of Europe.
Perhaps having Henderson there could prove vital, as he’ll have someone familiar on the team. Nonetheless, PSG hopes that the Dutchman can find a new club as the capital club probably wants to offload his salary from their wage bill.
