Kylian Mbappé, Nasser Al-Khelaifi Forge Win-Win Deal for Potential PSG Stay – Report

Kylian Mbappé’s future has been a subject of intense speculation, with transfer rumors swirling linking him to Real Madrid. Nonetheless, the 24-year-old’s return to the first-team training was unexpected.

Nonetheless, Sports Zone reports that the French superstar has formulated a strategic agreement with PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

This agreement, characterized as a win-win formula, aims to address the possibilities of Mbappé’s non-departure from the club this summer. Additionally, it lays the groundwork for potential scenarios moving forward.

Two potential scenarios have been outlined if Mbappé does not depart from PSG this summer. The first scenario entails an extension of Mbappé’s contract and an attractive sale clause.

As a result, this clause could pave the way for a future transfer while ensuring that PSG benefits from a significant transfer fee. Meanwhile, the second scenario pertains to waiving specific loyalty bonuses if Mbappé leaves the club on a free transfer in 2024.

The summer transfer deadline is on Sept. 1, and it seems the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner will stay at PSG. Neymar Jr. is now with Al-Hilal, so at least this season, the Frenchman will be at the center of the project should he stay.
