Injury Blow: PSG’s Kang-In Lee to Miss Action Until End of Next International Break

Paris Saint-Germain’s plans in the midfield with Kang-in Lee as the creative leader took a hit Tuesday. The injury bug has hit Lee again after picking up a knock early in the preseason.

The capital club announced that the 22-year-old injured his left quadriceps. As a result, the midfielder will remain in treatment at least until the end of the next international break.

With the summer transfer window closing, whether PSG will add a creative midfielder remains a mystery. If the Ligue 1 giants chose to standpat, then Lee would take over that role.

Le Parisien recently reported that the South Korean midfielder is set to shine under manager Luis Enrique. According to the information, the Spanish boss intends to make Lee a key player in PSG’s game plan.

With Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. gone, the French club needs someone to create. The transfer window remains open for a few more days, so PSG may prioritize looking for a midfielder with these traits.
