Fabrizio Romano: Al-Arabi to Bid for PSG’s Verratti Amid Intensifying Negotiations

Marco Verratti has an uncertain future at Paris Saint-Germain. The midfielder’s name has been mentioned in various rumors this summer transfer window. As a result, the Italian could be on the way before the Sept. 1 transfer deadline.

Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano reports that Qatari side Al-Arabi is preparing to take a bold step in pursuing Verratti. According to Romano, the club is on the brink of submitting an official bid to secure the 30-year-old’s signature.

Furthermore, negotiations will enter crucial stages soon. As Al-Arabi formalizes its interest, the discussions will determine whether Verratti becomes a new chapter in the club’s history.

Al-Arabi isn’t the only club eyeing the midfielder this summer. Verratti agreed to terms with Al-Hilal to begin a potential move to Saudi Arabia. However, agreement between the clubs involved has yet to materialize thus far.

A few days remain until the transfer window closes, and all signs point to Verratti possibly closing his PSG chapter. Still, an interested club needs to pay the asking price. Will it happen? We’ll soon find out.
