End of An Era? Neymar Nears PSG Exit, Bold Move to Al-Hilal – Report

The Neymar era at Paris Saint-Germain is over, as the 31-year-old will reportedly continue his career in Saudi Arabia.

RMC Sports’ Fabrice Hawkins reports that Neymar is in talks with Al-Hilal over joining them before the summer transfer window closes. According to the French journalist, the transfer fee will be €90 million.

With Neymar’s potential exit, it has likely opened the door to Kylian Mbappé signing a contract extension. PSG and the 24-year-old have engaged in positive discussions. As a result, it could see Mbappé stay this season and probably be sold next summer.

Nonetheless, with the arrival of Ousmane Dembélé, it will be interesting to see if the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is open to staying long-term at PSG, knowing that this project would be now his.

As for Neymar, a move to Saudi Arabia will allow him to keep his wages. If the 2015 UEFA Champions League winner wanted to remain in Europe, he would likely have had to take a pay cut. These next few hours will be crucial to wrapping the transfer file.
