For most of the summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain has been connected to Olympique Lyonnais winger Bradley Barcola. However, the capital club could face competition for the talented Frenchman.
RMC Sports’ Fabrice Hawkins reports that Chelsea is ramping up its efforts to secure the services of Barcola in the past few hours. The 20-year-old has emerged as a top contender on the Blues’ shortlist following the setback of their pursuit of Michael Olise.
However, acquiring Barcola remains complex as PSG maintains its interest in the player. Lyon half-opened the door but refused an offer of €35 million with bonuses from the capital club.

As the transfer saga unfolds, Bradley Barcola’s stance remains pivotal. The player’s agreement is a crucial step in finalizing any potential move, and he has yet to provide a definitive decision on his future.
With the Sept. 1 transfer window deadline nearing, Chelsea and PSG could battle again if either side wants to land Barcola. The Lyon youngster has scored seven goals and registered 12 assists in 45 appearances during his time with the French club.
