Chelsea, PSG Striker Top Targets for AC Milan to Fill No. 9 Role This Summer Window – Report

There are a few days until the summer transfer window closes on Sept. 1. As a result, if the capital club wants to move off from Hugo Ekitike, they’ll need to hit overdrive. Although struggling at Paris Saint-Germain, the 21-year-old still has a market.

Calciomercato.com reports that Ekitike remains on the radar of AC Milan. The Italian club likely wants to add another striker that can be a long-term replacement for Olivier Giroud.

With the arrival of Gonçalo Ramos and potentially Randal Kolo Muani, Ekitike has no room for starting minutes. As a result, it would be ideal for the Frenchman to look elsewhere

Along with Ekitike, the Serie A side also looks at Chelsea’s Armando Broja, as both players are Plan A and B for the Rossoneri. AC Milan is thought to be interested in signing a striker on an initial loan deal.

However, whether Chelsea or PSG will consider this option is still being determined. In the meantime, AC Milan is currently relying on Olivier Giroud, Noah Okafor, and Lorenzo Colombo for the No.9 position. Nonetheless, Colombo still needs to be approved for the loan.

Will AC Milan secure either of the top two targets? There are only a few days left for them to do so.
