Bradley Barcola is officially the latest addition to Paris Saint-Germain as the capital club adds more depth to their attack. Despite already having Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé, the Ligue 1 giants know from last season that the team has to prepare for injuries and rotation.
So why did Barcola decide that now is the time to jump from Olympique Lyonnais for the French capital? PSG can thank their new manager, Luis Enrique, for the influence.
The 20-year-old noted that the Spanish tactician put the right touch to entice the former Lyon winger to push for a move to PSG.
“I had the chance to chat with the coach,” Barcola told PSG TV. “It’s true that he also knew how to say what was needed to convince me. He made me want to join the club even more.
“He likes the attacking game, so obviously, I like it, and I know it will be a chance to play like that. So I’m really very happy to be trained by a coach like that!”

Barcola will be a rotational piece and depth behind Mbappé and Dembélé. Still, expect him to see minutes when the French giants decide to give them a break, whether for cup matches or right after a UEFA Champions League contest.
PSG doesn’t intend to stop at Barcola as they hope to finalize other transfers, such as the Randal Kolo Muani saga. The next few hours will be filled with suspense until the summer transfer window closes.
