Football agent Jorge Mendes has sprung into action as FC Barcelona grapples with its ongoing financial challenges. Mendes is reportedly working towards sending Ansu Fati away from the Catalan club.
As the Portuguese executive looks to find his player a new home, Sports Zone reports that Mendes has again offered Fati to Paris Saint-Germain. However, manager Luis Enrique believes Olympique Lyonnais’ Bradley Barcola is the preferable target.
PSG must act fast for Barcola, as Chelsea is reportedly in the mix for the Lyon youngster. After failing to pursue Michael Olise, the Blues now turn to Plan B.
Working in tandem with Barcelona’s recently appointed sporting director, Deco, Mendes is facilitating the intricate negotiations to secure Fati’s departure from the club.

Furthermore, the reported willingness of former Barcelona star and current manager Xavi Hernandez to consider the transfer means that the 20-year-old could move before the Sept. 1 summer transfer window deadline.
Still, whether Fati moves in these next few days is a mystery. However, it seems the young player will not be suiting up for PSG.
