The Renato Sanches saga won’t drag on until the final hours of the summer transfer window. Paris Saint-Germain has revamped their midfield position, meaning there will be competition for minutes.
As a result, some players will be heading out, and one of them is likely Sanches. The Portugal international’s name has been strongly linked to AS Roma, and it seems it’s only a matter of time until an agreement is reached.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports an imminent agreement between PSG and Roma for Sanches. The Italian media outlet adds that the loan deal will be around €1-€2 million.

As part of the agreement, AS Roma will reportedly have a call option to buy the player permanently for a fee of €13 million.
This provision allows the Italian club to assess Sanches’ performance and contribution to the team during the loan spell before deciding on a permanent transfer.
One key aspect that makes this deal even more enticing for AS Roma is PSG’s commitment to contributing to Renato Sanches’ salary. This financial support from the French giants will ease the burden on Roma’s wage bill, making the transfer more feasible and attractive for the club.
