AS Roma could have multiple Paris Saint-Germain midfielders in their squad for the 2023-24 season. The Serie A side will compete in the UEFA Europa League this upcoming campaign.
PSG has a jampacked midfield with the additions to the team this summer. As a result, the capital club has to offload players, especially those who might feature less often in the starting 11.
Il Messaggero reports PSG is ready to part with Renato Sanches since Roma is keen on the Portugal international. However, he’s not alone, as the Italian media outlet notes that Georginio Wijnaldum and Fabián Ruiz could also make their way to Rome.

Wijnaldum spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Roma, and Ruiz is familiar with Serie A during his time at Napoli. According to the report, Jose Mourinho is keen on the Spanish midfielder to incorporate him into his squad.
Sanches is the file that continues to progress, and it’s likely only a matter of time until both sides reach an agreement. It will be interesting to see if his two teammates will play for Roma too.
