While the capital club might have asked Mbappé for his opinion on specific situations, he cannot have a say on how to build a team. Luis Campos is at PSG because the club chief is someone Mbappé trust.
As for Real Madrid, they need a striker now since Karim Benzema left for Saudi Arabia. They can play the waiting game to see if Mbappé exits as a free agent, but that would throw away the 2023-24 season.
