Los Blancos have long had their eyes on the Frenchman, so now might be the time strike as the relationship between Mbappé and PSG sours. In fact, The Athletic reports that Real Madrid foresaw this situation.

The power that Mbappé has reportedly presented itself with his displeasure regarding the hire of Luis Enrique. The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner isn’t keen on PSG’s direction concerning their transfer policy.
While the capital club might have asked Mbappé for his opinion on specific situations, he cannot have a say on how to build a team. Luis Campos is at PSG because the club chief is someone Mbappé trust.
As for Real Madrid, they need a striker now since Karim Benzema left for Saudi Arabia. They can play the waiting game to see if Mbappé exits as a free agent, but that would throw away the 2023-24 season.
