Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was a victim of a robbery in his home. RMC Sport reported, citing sources, that the 24-year-old was robbed at his home in the 8th arrondissement of Paris on the night of Thursday to Friday.

The French media outlet adds that the victims were reportedly tied up. It means that Donnarumma was with his partner when they were attacked in their home.

Furthermore, it was the staff of a hotel who gave the alert. RMC Sport reveals that many valuables were stolen, up to several hundred thousand euros, during the incident.

Several individuals are wanted as part of the crime. Meanwhile, Donnarumma and his companion were immediately taken to hospital.

The robbery comes hours before PSG’s first preseason match against Le Havre. The Italian shot-stopper was called up to the 27-man squad by Luis Enrique. Keylor Navas, who returned to PSG this summer, and Alexandre Letellier are also part of the group on the goalkeeper side.
