Marco Verratti might be on his way out of the Paris Saint-Germain squad. The 30-year-old’s name has been in various rumors linking him to Atlético Madrid and Liverpool.
While Verratti is part of the squad that went on the summer tour to Japan and South Korea, he has an uncertain future. MARCA reports that Atlético Madrid are pushing for the Italian international.
However, the Spanish media outlet also notes that Liverpool FC is on its way as they’re very interested in the player and have the funds to proceed with the transfer.

If both teams are vying for the midfielder, PSG can recoup a substantial feed. According to the report, the French giants will demand around £60 million for Verratti.
PSG selling off Verratti would mean three key figures from last season’s team could be out. Lionel Messi is gone after his contract expired; Kylian Mbappe has an uncertain future and could be phased out. Then there’s Verratti, who has been a staple in the midfield.
It will be interesting to see if either club presents an official offer and how PSG reacts. £60 million is a nice sum for a player nearing the end of his prime.
