Paris Saint-Germain continues to hoover around Atalanta striker Rasmus Højlund. Manchester United wants to swoop up the promising Danish talent, but so far, nothing official yet on their part.
The Ligue 1 side needs a No. 9 this summer transfer window. Kylian Mbappe appears to be on the way out or at least phased out of the project should he remain.
PSG must also replace the goal production left behind by Lionel Messi, who exited as a free agent.
Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano reports PSG remains in talks with Højlund’s camp. However, the Red Devils are ahead of Paris in the race for the 20-year-old. The Premier League club already has an agreement on personal terms and is the priority for Højlund.

Manchester United should win this race for the Atalanta star. The English side has to work out a fee that the Serie A side deems fair on their part.
Meanwhile, PSG has to work out personal terms with Højlund, convince him to join their project, and then agree to a fee with Atalanta. It’s not impossible, but it’s a tall order to achieve the transfer.
