Paris Saint-Germain is set on a No. 9 striker this summer transfer window. The latest target is Atalanta BC’s Rasmus Højlund as the capital club looks to beat Manchester United.
The Ligue 1 side reportedly wants to offer €60 million for the 20-year-old striker. However, money isn’t all that would go to Atalanta. Sacha Tavolieri reports that PSG wants to offer Hugo Ekitiké as part of the transfer.
According to Tavolieri, Atalanta is considering this idea since the Frenchman is cited to be of interest to other Serie A clubs. Ekitiké is linked to AC Milan and AS Roma as a possible player to fill their striker needs this summer.

Furthermore, this possible transfer scenario might put PSG ahead of Manchester United. The Red Devils doubt their capability to meet Atalanta’s demand for Højlund. As a result, it puts the capital club in the driver’s seat to land the Danish star.
Manchester United reportedly had hoped to swiftly move to land Højlund to avoid a PSG hijacking. However, now it seems the Ligue 1 side could be well on their way to securing the player.
