A potential transfer saga is brewing as Paris Saint-Germain seeks to part ways with star forward Kylian Mbappé this summer.
Spanish journalist Tomás González-Martín reported that there are complications have arisen due to the involvement of Mbappé’s mother, Fayza Lamari.
According to the reporting, Lamari poses a challenge in the negotiations for club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. PSG is willing to entertain offers for Mbappé, with Real Madrid emerging as the frontrunner for his signature.

The French club expects a hefty transfer fee of around €200 million for the talented striker, whose contract expires in 2024. However, negotiations have hit a stumbling block due to Lamari’s demands.
The mother of the 24-year-old forward is reportedly seeking a €60 million bonus. She expects to receive the bonus in July, regardless of whether her son leaves the club or not. This demand has caught PSG off guard and added complexity to the delicate situation.
Mbappé has expressed his desire to play for Real Madrid, and the Spanish club is keen on securing his services. Nonetheless, the strong-willed determination of Mbappé’s mother could potentially lead to extending his contract with PSG until 2025, postponing his dream move for another year.
