Paris Saint-Germain might face a challenge from a second Premier League club in the pursuit of Juventus’ Dušan Vlahović.
Foot Mercato reported Thursday that Tottenham Hotspur identified Vlahović as their primary target to potentially fill the void if Harry Kane leaves this summer.
According to the French media outlet, Juventus favor a sale of Vlahović rather than Federico Chiesa or Gleison Bremer. The Serie A side understands the conjecture that the summer transfer window is more conducive to a sale of the Serbia international to maximize his value.
Juventus also believes that replacing Vlahović would be more easily replaceable given the attackers available. Furthermore, with PSG and two English clubs in the mix, the Turin-based club could receive the fee they’re looking for this summer.
As speculation swirls around Harry Kane’s future at Tottenham, the club is actively planning for various scenarios, including the potential loss of their star striker.
Tottenham’s amicable relations with Juventus, Vlahović’s current club, could work in their favor as they seek to secure his services. Nonetheless, the Italian giants reportedly value the prolific goal scorer at €80 million, who’s under contract until 2026.
